Field Activity(Japanese language class, Monday course)
Museum of Confections~Hitachi Seaside Park~Nakaminato Fish Market
Japanese language class had the field activity on March 30 (Mon.).
Thirty-nine people (30 people of students and their family, and 9 Japanese staff) joined.
The bus left Noda central public hall for Hitachi at 9.00.
Watching the discovery gallery of cake
Some interesting episodes in the history of cake are introduced.
For example,
1)Egyptians baked bread.
2)Marie Antoinette said “If you have no bread, you should eat cake.”, and her remark provoked Paris citizens to anger.
Confectionaries in the world are displayed on the table.
We were happy about viewing the confectionaries even if we couldn’t eat them.
We had delightful lunch in grasslands in the park.
And then, watching blue sea, green grasslands and white sand beach we went on a mini circular tour of the park by seaside-train.
Taking a commemorative photo at the central gate
We stopped over at Nakaminato fish market to buy souvenirs on our way home.
It was an enjoyable activity in the beautiful weather though it was a little cold.
